The Marriage Game

She's captured the King (okay, the 50th anniversary Ken doll) and now she's playing for the other pieces in The Marriage Game that she wants. Obviously there's the engagement ring with the obligatory flowers and champagne to celebrate. And while glass slippers would be nice....she'd really prefer a closet full of fashionable shoes and boots. What other pieces in the game do you think she'd like to win?

The painting on the wall behind her is based on Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhone. I liked the idea of a using a painting in the background that was a scene by the river with stars that almost look like fireworks going off......what better place for a romantic engagement? She's wearing a military inspired jacket because.....well.....finding true love and planning a wedding could almost be compared to a military operation. Am I being too cynical?
