My husband, Tom, says that my purpose in life is to supply comic relief, so it's only natural that my sense of humor comes through in my paintings. I'll paint a beautiful woman dressed up for the evening..... but she's holding a sippy cup and her young son is wrapped around her leg. She's a woman, but she's also a mother. She wants to leave, but she wants to stay. That's the dichotomous nature of life. I hope my paintings make you smile. They're full of color and life. They tell stories.
